Arkeda 2021 unveils in Naples 'The dimensions of architecture' VIII Edition at Mostra D’Oltremare from 3 to 5 December
Naples, November 5th - "This year's Arkeda theme - The dimensions of the Architecture - attempts to reveal new aspects that reveal the deep links of this discipline with society, the environment and all their sudden changes ". Like this Roberto Cappelli, Director of Arkeda, in presenting the eighth edition of the Architecture, Building, Design and Furniture Exhibition, appointment organized by Progecta and scheduled for 3-4-5 December 2021 at the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples.
'The dimensions of the Architecture' - in halls 5 (design) and 6 (material technology) of the Fuorigrotta structure - will be articulated by proposing again 4 workshops inspired by the dimensional and relational contrast of architectural spaces. In the Arkeda laboratories there will be a real implementation of the products, projects and materials: the participating companies with the speakers and operators representing them together with the tutors will have to demonstrate the state of research of their products and technical performance. The training will have a modern imprint not only with lectures, but also using an arena with two tutors and the audience that comes into direct contact with the interlocutors.
Its about 8 thousand square meters Arkeda will host exhibitors of the high range of interior design and furniture, outdoor, home automation, offices, kitchens, wellness space, coverings, decorations, crafts, 7 excellent exhibitions, a Theater of Ideas in which to play a character who makes himself known by telling his story in the world of design and architecture while having a coffee with the audience. The surface, however, will not only be that of the Mostra d'Oltremare because, as usual, the appointment with the outside the Arkeda salon which for 2021 will be on three roads to involve the city more and more: via Piedigrotta, via Chiatamone, via Dei Mille for three Fridays (26 November, 3 and 10 December).
There will be training courses and thematic focus - will be about 30 on architecture, design, materials, technologies, created in collaboration with the professional associations and the Federico II and Vanvitelli universities - and 15 courses with attribution of cfp.
The event - which enjoys the patronage of the National Council of Architects PPC, the Orders of Architects from all over Italy, the Engineers, the ADI, the associations of designers and universities - in its latest edition saw the participation of over 12 thousand architects and engineers and aims to break this attendance record in the year of the restart after the pandemic.
