For Arkeda the Order of Architects of Naples with a permanent desk

An information desk to help architects and companies to navigate the world of the facilities and national and European funding is the initiative promoted by the Order of Architects of Naples and CCP province, chaired by Professor Leonardo Di Mauro, at the seventh Arkeda edition, the exhibition architecture conference, construction, design and furnishing held in Naples, at the Overseas exhibition, on Friday, November 29 to Sunday, 1 December.

A consultant will be available to professionals and businesses to illustrate the possibilities of funding to which you have access.

On the occasion of the Arkeda 2019, it will also be presented the memorandum of understanding, strongly backed by the Council of PPC Architects of Naples and its province, which will provide the opportunity for young professionals, with lower enrollment in five years, to be able to do temporary internship at affiliated companies.

For the first year the Order of Architects PPC of Naples and its province, in consultation with the Departments and Commissions issues involved, has launched a program to its stand with a series of activities and presentations to be in the making for 2020.

During the event, you can also follow the training courses promoted by Arkeda. Four other hand, those organized by the Order of Architects PPC of Naples and its province: «The architecture and its surroundings, the habitat size between physical reality and cognitive universe» (Friday, November 29, 15.30); the ethics seminar (Saturday, November 30, 9.30) and «The quality of contemporary architecture in Campania» (Saturday, November 30, at 15); is «The culture of demand - children for a project of the near future» (Sunday, December 1, 10 hours).

Naples, October 29, 2019 - ARKEDA starts from experience, that by knowing how to do this will be the main theme of the seventh edition of the exhibition architecture conference, construction, design & decor to be held at the Overseas Exhibition in Naples from Friday 29 November to Sunday, 1 December.
After six years of work in an in-depth path on the criticism of Architecture and Design, on technological innovation, on the research of materials that led visitors to explore the works of the great masters, to deepen the importance and centrality of the project , seeking utopia and declining the Vitruvian Triad, for the 2019 edition ARKEDA arrives chooses to regain possession of the material dimension of mental speculation, in order to then be able to restart from more aware bases and go towards new speculative goals. The experience of technicians, craftsmen and researchers will take the field, their practical knowledge and the meeting will be transformed into in-depth workshops on the construction and application techniques of products and new technologies.

NEW WORKSHOPS DO KNOW

They will be divided into four thematic areas inspired by the four primary elements of the universe: Air, Water, Earth and Fire from which everything originates. The four workshops will lead architects on a journey through the 4 elements to discover the products that result from each of them.
To interpret the Know-How, also come to ARKEDA ten people invited by architect Antonella Venezia, owner, with his brother Luigi, the study VENEZIATRE associated architects, committed not only to work as an architect, but in design and, in particular, in jewelery design.
"When I was asked to collaborate in the Arkeda 2019 edition by proposing a shortlist of designers, I accepted with enthusiasm, as communication is an aspect of my profession that particularly fascinates me - explains the architect Venezia - The main theme of the event is “Know how”, where we mean knowing how to respect the environment that surrounds us, without altering its balance. I decided to invite ten characters, of different backgrounds, not only cultural, but working and thinking. I made a transversal cut by inviting to redesign the headboard of the aforementioned bed to those who, with a sentence, a verse or musical composition, a technical or artistic drawing, could summarize the main theme. They have accepted, even those who are distant from the design ”.
The ten characters that will be in 2019 on Venice architect ARKEDA call are the writer Maurizio De Giovanni, the musician Rino Zurzolo, the actor Gianfranco Gallo, the astronomer Massimo Della Valle, the artist Sergio Fermariello, the restorer Barbara Bizarre, Professor Roberto Liberti, the designer Elena Vida and Stefania Ricci and the architect Marco Maria Tagliaferri.

NAPLES CAPITAL OF DESIGN THE MEDITERRANEAN

The seventh edition of ARKEDA will take place from Friday 29 November to Sunday 1 December in pavilions 5 and 6 of the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples. The event organized by Progecta is the only event dedicated to Architecture, Furniture, Design and Construction that takes place in the south-central and certainly the most important in the Mediterranean area. ARKEDA 2019 enjoys the patronage of the National Council of Architects, the Orders of Architects, Engineers, University Designer Associations. To guarantee the high profile of the event, it includes numerous refresher courses with the release of training credits and a series of debates and workshops dedicated to professionals.

The objects of The Stone House are traces of memory, summaries of passages in our history: the facts and events of our past as a result of mnemonic and not critical investigation, are "stories emerged" that combine stone raw materials retracing fragments of evolutionary memories.

After exposure to Marmomacc the project has received numerous invitations to exhibit in other events and has begun to implement collections and partner companies who ask to join the cultural project, communication and business; to date there are 67 collections for more than 250 objects and 42 artisans from all over Italy

THE STONE HOUSE received the Best Communicator Award 2014 in the section Design at Marmomacc has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2016, and contributes to the Compasso d'Oro in 2018 in the "enterprise search"; The Imprints collection is among the finalists of the Meneghetti International Art Prize 2018; She received the Woman of Marble Award 2019.

The theme of this year's edition of Arkeda is Knowing how to do. In this wake, the group of seven goldsmiths from Campania, who have been coordinating for some time, will try their hand at creating a single object that recalls the guidelines dictated by the use of non-polluting materials, not only, but also in the manufacturing process that must not , in any way, affect the environment. The seven jewels that will be exhibited will also carry a communicative and emotional matrix, as they can also symbolize the attempt at environmental recovery and whatever else may be in support of an eco-friendly production. The goldsmith designers who will exhibit their jewel are: Antonella Venezia, Alba Rosa Mancini, Carlo Olivari, Gustavo Renna, Linda Gambero, Stefania Caramanna and Sara Lubrano. 70 years after the first edition of Le Corbusier's Modulor, Cintya Concari and Roberto Marcatti decided to curate an exhibition that had its focus on the stylized figure of the man by Le Corbusier with the measurements taken from his Modulor.

The question that arises to the architects / designers / artists invited and engaged in the reinterpretation of that stylized human figure is whether today in the era of the digital economy where everything seems to be managed by the invisible hand of computers the modulor of Le Corbusier is still current or history of other times that must be replaced by artificial intelligence that through thealgorithm leads us to the "best" problem resolution.

In common there are calculation procedures, but the stylized figure of a man is replaced by the form of a tree diagram that allows you to find new, unpublished interpretations starting from the information already known.

The question therefore posed by the curators of the exhibition is whether today, by working with the algorithm, we can lay the foundations for the new architecture.

This is the challenge to which those who participated in this project are called, who have reinterpreted the figure of the stylized man in Corian produced by the Kubico company with material coming from the waste of processing; The approximately 100 protagonists of the exhibition, placed in front of the modulor / algorithm dilemma, thus express and manifest a personal and autonomous freedom of intervention by modifying the stylized human figure making it become a pictorial support or a constructive / sculptural element.

ARKEDA 2012 - 2018: 6 years of work in an in-depth path on the criticism of Architecture and Design, on technological innovation, on the research of materials that led us to explore the works of the great masters, to deepen the importance and centrality of the project, to research utopia and decline the Vitruvian Triad.

YEAR 2019: ARKEDA arrives at the practice of Knowing how to do, chooses to regain possession of the material dimension of mental speculation, in order to then be able to start from more aware bases and go towards new speculative goals. We will bring to the field the experience of technicians, craftsmen and researchers, their practical knowledge. Starting from the bases that Arkeda has built in these 6 years with 457 speakers and 240 hours of debates, we will transform the meetings into in-depth workshops on the construction and application techniques of products and new technologies.
